Marie Zhorova

Marie Zhořová works at the intersection of music, rights, strategy and technology. She founded Artist Bridge Consulting, where she supports artists and music professionals with distribution, release strategy, artist development, rights and licensing, and contract negotiations.

Her work focuses on helping artists and music professionals better understand and navigate the increasingly complex business and rights landscape around music. Alongside her consulting work, she is actively involved in developing the Czech and European music ecosystem, with a particular interest in music licensing, sync, digital platforms and the changing relationship between artists, rights and technology.

In 2024, Marie was selected to participate in the HEMI – Hub for the Exchange of Music Innovation programme and was awarded a grant supporting her professional development and activities in the music industry. The same year, she organised a Synch Landscape Roundtable, bringing together music industry professionals to discuss the development of sync and the opportunities and structural challenges facing the Czech market.

Marie also regularly creates and moderates industry discussions and panels. She organised and moderated a music industry panel at SoundTrack Poděbrady in 2025, and returned in 2026 to host the SYNCH Masterclass: How to Master Music Licensing, bringing together international sync expert Markus Linde and Czech sync agent and music business expert Lucie Janečková to explore the relationship between artists, rights, money and opportunity.

Through her consulting and industry activities, Marie aims to connect creative and business perspectives and bring practical, often under-discussed issues into the conversation, particularly around how artists can build sustainable careers and how the structures around music can better support them.
